The province of Burgos (Castile and Leon) is strategically linked to the main Spanish cities (an hour and a half from Madrid-Barajas airport), encouraging an influx of tourists from all over the world seeking experiences involving wine, food, history and/or art.

The Ferratus building is sober but avant-garde and the Corten steel structure crossing its facade, representing a reversed letter F (the winery’s symbol), can be seen from the main Burgos-Madrid road (A-1) between the municipalities of Aranda de Duero and Gumiel de Izán.

Bodegas Ferratus lies in the heart of the Ribera del Duero D.O. The landscape surrounding the vineyards and protecting them from the dreaded frosts arouses a feeling of weightlessness, as if you could fall into the void the above natural pinewoods and vineyards, where the winery also stands.
